1. Remove Part of an Image

The simplest Photoshop action is to make an image brighter or darker. To start, with the image open, go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast. 2. Remove a Background

3. „Paint“ with an Image

This is one of the most useful tools in Photoshop and is used frequently in the post-processing workflow of finished images. For simple drawings, use the Rectangle Tool (R) with a square brush with large dimensions to draw a large shape (for instance, a large house). Now, drag the image around the canvas to make it fit the shape. When satisfied, click OK to give the image a new layer. Use the Eraser tool to cover the drawing with a lighter color.

To create a black and white image, go to Image > Adjustments > Levels. Now, with Levels selected, go to Image > Adjustments > Desaturate. Almost everybody loves memes, and this is mostly because they are sometimes very sarcastic and/or funny. Basically, a meme is a characteristic or idea that is repeated and passed around. There are many different types of memes, and most of them contain a photo, usually from either a movie, or an album. Therefore, in this collection of 36 humorous memes, we have compiled a collection of memes using Photoshop.

Some of the types of memes we have collected are Photoshopped ones, some of them are altered, some of them are altered and merged together, and some of them are altered and merged together. There is a wide range of Photoshop techniques, which you can use for your own memes. Photoshop is a difficult program, so we have divided the collection into three main categories. This is the second post in a series about making a leather portfolio in March

There are a lot of opportunities to learn new things and get new skills here on this community. Like any forum, you will also see areas of discussion that are not always as professional as they should be. That is where it becomes fun to learn. My hope is this series can be a helpful guide for people who may be new to woodworking and wood art in general, and even seasoned veterans. For the sake of simplicity, I am going to use basic vocabulary and leave out all the fancy words and terminology. Please feel free to correct any terms you think are incorrect (unless you disagree with them, of course).

The leather crafting portfolio I’ll show you here is designed to help you learn how to make book folios. While most people know that the outer surface of a portfolio is usually finished leather, not everyone is clear on what the other interior layers are. Today we will use the book folio as the main focus to explore the different layers, and next week we will use the cover to focus on a different set of materials.

The leather component is, of course, leather itself. This is what you have in your hands right now. Leather is not a single material, but is a family of materials. Leather can be like steak or like your karate classes. It can be like cow or like your favorite dog. It is a very diverse material which means there are a lot of different styles of leather to choose from.

You can use any type of leather for this project. I chose to go with leather sewn together with stitch lines. I know this is not a precise type of leather, but the goal is to learn and have fun, not be accurate. The stitch lines are for show here, but if you wanted to actually make a book folio for commercial purposes, you could take a shingle stitch with a really long needle to eliminate the lines.

There is a lot to cover in this project, so let’s start with some general information and then dive into the specifics.

A book folio can be a very useful, affordable, and rewarding tool for creative work. It has a special section where it stores and protects your book, and another interior and exterior which holds all the different things you put into it.

However, there are still a number of settings to choose from that you can adjust as you get more familiar with Photoshop. The Load Default Settings command does not change these settings. So if you are already using them, you will need to change them before you make any other adjustments.
