DBProbe is very easy to use, and to make it run, first you need to do a test for network conditions (only on PC), by right-clicking anywhere on the Desktop, or by selecting „Test“ from the „Run DBprobe“ menu.

When the window opens, you must be sure that one of the 3 „DBProbe“ boxes is selected.

You can now set DBProbe to run on a specific port on the computer where you will be running the test. If you don’t have a firewall on that port, then you can leave all 3 boxes empty.

You can then set the „packet size“ of the ping, select the no. of cycles to allow for the ping, the „test time“, the „result time“, then hit the start button.

When it is done, you can view your graph on the web.

As for now, the DBTab works great for filtering out the results, but if you would like, you can change the variables around, so that you can filter out different numbers of bits for the ping and the cycle.

DBProbe [32|64bit]

DBProbe is a small application. It checks the directed broadcast ping amplification factor for a network.
After running DBProbe, you can simply add a network card to the application. The netmask and destination IP address of the broadcast ping will be saved.
To use DBProbe, you must first set the correct file locations. The file locations that are set by default are:
