The epicVerb reverberation device aims at both: Tight small rooms and ambiences well suited to modern drum and vocal productions up to large “epic” halls as known from high quality outboard gear.
 
This reverbs sound ranges from rather concrete or even edgy up to smooth, transparent and artifact free reverb tails. It is designed for maximum flexibility and usability and to take place as a true high quality stereo main reverb. epicVerb features two different sounding reverberation modes and 6 different stereo early reflection models.
There are some standard reverb controls like ‘TIME’, ‘DAMP’ or ’PRE-DELAY’ as well as reverb tail modulation and detailed control over very first reflections as an option.
It offers different reverb time handling for high and low frequencies as well as a musi-

The new Reverb enables musical producers to achieve successful results in a broad spectrum of rooms with standard and ‘gig’ sizes.
The classic Equali-
tion section offers two “BootEQ” equalizers with special lowpass and highpass filtering capabilities
designed for Studio production environments.
The stereo delay section is fully managed by 3 classic echo servers as well as the STEREO to MONO section.
Regarding the classic-gear-like design we made a special effort to design some remote control functions and a clearly laid out GUI for the best usability and result stability.
We use a powerful high quality sound engine to make our epics sounding and resultin
g stable. This also allows for adjusting the reverb to match your recording rig.

This means we will only apply the reverb to the relevant feed. In this case the left feed.
Of course we always apply the reverb in a room that is comparable with the room where you did
your recording.

▷ VERBS – Provides two different sounding modes. ‘VERBS’ is aimed at tight and small rooms and

▷ TARGET – With the tool ‘TARGET’ you can modulate the effects of early reflections and the depth
of reverbs in order to get a different sound: The lowpass filter ‘MODULATOR’ behaves like
a continuously variable crossover for the low frequency reflections. At the same time ‘DAMP’
acts like a dial to handle the reverbs. ‘TARGET’ also allows to edit the peaks of early reflections and thus provide additional depth on vocals
and percussion (especially choirs).

▷ EARLY REFL – For this the ‘EARLY REFL’ tool offers two different stereo variants for
the early reflections. The angle of the reverb tail can be manipulated. High-pass and low-pass filtering are available.

▷ EQ-FOLLOWER – A state-of-the-art high precision (analog) EQ type with a simulated vacuum tube. By means of its multiple band pass and notch filters, it
determines the best setting for all frequencies and can be switched between a highpass, lowpass, bandpass or high- and lowpass filter.

▷ ALU – For extra modulation possibilities the ‘ALU’ tool allows you to control the reverb tail
with a pedal shape while modulating the highpass filter in the same way. An additional
highpass filter is also available. Both functions can be used together.

guitar channel enables guitarists to realize their musical ideas with a control over their

the vocal sound and really enhance it in order to achieve effects and sounds that are

epicVerbs own mic into the device or into a plug-in format (ALchemy,
Padstools, compressors and effects) and then send them right into the
epicVerb for further processing.
Connect an internal mic to the epicVerb‘s instrument input and by
touching a foot switch you control the level of the input signal using
the ‘LEVEL’ control on top of the front panel. Alternatively you can
plug in external mics via the front panel and control the level in the
same way as the internal mic.

Resonant Reverb Modes
The epicVerb reverberation device offers different reverb modes for different situations and to give
it a different character. All modes offer the same quality for reflections and direct sound however the
non-resonant, resonance and fractal modes offer their own character. 
The non-resonant reverb mode is the ideal solution for small rooms and other areas with a low overall
volume. The mode allows setting the time and then every damping. The direct sound is preferen-
tely removed.
The resonance reverb mode offers the ideal reverb solution for small
cabins and other low-noise locations with a high overall volume. The
routes are set in the aspect of the reflections with the same damping
for all of them and set in their steady and fading parts. The direct
sound is also preferen-tely removed.
The fractal mode features a self-recreating, recursive reverb sound design with natural sounding
tones. The mode basically allows for control over the given sound.
