An old RPG game by Jonty „HateBit“ Dawson (a.k.a. HateBit) was converted to chiptune music.
Jonty made this chiptune soundtrack by converting the graphics to chiptune, mostly from old RPG games (many of them are unreleased).
Jonty used the music, sound effects and graphics from the old game for this chiptune soundtrack (some of it is also from others old games).
If you want to know more about the source of all chiptune music from old RPG games, or have any questions about the game or the music, feel free to send an e-mail to HateBit.

ow, i know how you can just go into the game directory folder and remove it there.. dll’s are like that i think..

There is a „Generate“ option in the control panel. You may be able to use that to do what you want.
I think it’s because of a bug that is generally triggered in newer versions of Windows. The new Windows interface causes there to be data files that don’t exist. Lots of older software depended on these „hidden“ files and got confused when the option was changed..

or fix it you said and keep it with the current updates…. the art that’s like the windows 8 launch drew my eye.. oh so pretty~! (moar~!* *Moar*~!) what’s that? Java? really? I never heard of that…

I will install a newer build of the game. I am thinking of going back to the original malware. Some of the other options I have seen can mess up the game this way. I should learn to do things the ‚right‘ way so I can be sure I do not have to do all those extra steps.

Personally i would leave it or just install a clean build from a clean instal…
    but lalala…

Randomly clicking a Submit button gives 1 black screen.
Braining yourself until this bug has been fixed

    Reviews:
GamesIndustry.biz: „The most disappointing thing about Save The Astronaut is the complete lack of any real skill required to play it. I spent more time trying to find a way to spot my friend when we played the beta than I did playing through the whole game.“
Destructoid: „This is a big update with even more to offer. It’s a bigger game from all of the elements. The mechanics are more refined. The voice acting in the cutscenes is spot on, and the gameplay feels better. Now it’s ready to be released.“
GameStar: „Wow, this is a real improvement, it’s better than ever, it’s better than 100 games! We wish you guys a lot of best wishes for this game!“
Cinemagnificent: „Save The Astronaut is definitely not worth the $20 asking price. It only adds up to two hours of playtime. The control options are horribly limited, and also the AI can be deadly. It’s obvious, like the game says, that these actions were rushed due to the delay of

    Our verdict:

Outs There Somewhere is nothing short of a triumph. It has a complex and challenging puzzle design that will test the reflexes and brains of even the most hardcore platforming fan. We had high hopes for the game after having so much fun with the superb Casual Game Rundown Out There Somewhere, but were quickly proven wrong. In fact, our level of disappointment is actually at a higher level than it was with Casual Game Rundown Out There.

When I say it’s a game that requires commitment, I’m not being redundant.

If you only give it a couple of hours, you’ll find there’s not much to do and the camera does a lazy job of tracking its protagonist as she slips and slides her way through this visual masterpiece. The game doesn’t even set the difficulty high enough to require much in the way of skill; what it does instead is prove to be a relentless, increasingly nerve-racking, daunting exercise in precarious platforming.

This is a hard game to talk about because, honestly, even after a couple of hours with Out There Somewhere, I don’t know what to say. The game manages to alienate even the most forgiving of players and it’s a game that simply refuses to reward those who might be tempted to take a half hour or two and then give up.

Oh sure, you can walk around for the first three or four hours or so with little to do and little reason to be there, but if you’re not careful you’ll be left with a profound feeling of disinterest, boredom and just an urge to get out of there. So, although this may be a puzzle platformer, at least for the first three or four hours the gameplay serves only to keep you there, as you’re unlikely to stick around long enough to feel any sense of purpose or completion.

It’s a simple truth, but Out There Somewhere is not a difficult game. The reason it’s hard to recommend this is because it takes so long to get to the point where it starts requiring skill. That’s not to say that you’re going to struggle, because there’s a very gradual ramp-up in the game’s difficulty as you progress, and once you get past the first third, it gets pretty challenging. But to those who are used to the instant gratification of easier games, it takes a good chunk
