ABYSS OF THE SACRIFICE is a beautifully produced action/adventure game that takes place in the same universe as the acclaimed anime movie „Covert Blue“.
Every choice you make changes the story – your weapons, your character’s skills, the events that unfold around you, and most importantly, the very gameplay itself. The game’s departure from the previous Covert genre has resulted in a completely new AAA AAA experience!
I just got this game and I can’t help but wonder why it exists. It’s an incredibly long and tedious experience that could have been done in 2-3 games as opposed to 6+ hours. The game is basically an excuse to make this custom guitar sound, which it shows off. What the guitar section should have been instead is a set of tutorials. You could have then taken the guitar lessons, learnt the songs and been done with it. With the new versions of Gitaroo Man or Rocksmith, you can learn a guitar note by note. If you’re as bad as me you’ll probably have fun w/ the new version, but no one I know is playing Rocksmith.

How to design a self contained class in Java?
I wrote a very simple standalone application in Java and I’ve run into a problem.
Let’s say I have a class which is either DataSource or DataSet.
DataSource is something like a DB Connection. And DataSet is something like a dataset with its own methods to do various operations on it. (let’s say for example method ‚allData()‘, and ‚find()‘ returning the desired set of data)
Now, the problem is: When I find myself repeating common code and write a method which needs access to the DataSet class. I have to copy the whole code for that method in to the class in which I’m using the DataSet class and make it redundant.
Something that you can see easily if you look at this piece of code
DataSet datSet=getDataSet();
ArrayList data=datSet.allData();
I have to make changes in the getDataSet() method and have to update the copy of it in the class where I’m using the DataSet. I’m not sure how to make this work and avoid such redundant code.
A:
Use Java interfaces. The DataSet can inherit from DataSource (implement the methods) and you can access the data from outside the DataSet by specifying which data source you want.
If the implementation depends on the type of data, you can use generics like Collection, which will do the type checking, and Iterable which will allow you to use a for loop to iterate over your data.

As a fellow player, you began to be curious about him or her. Perhaps you knew him or her in real life, and you were curious as to how this acquaintance began and why the relationship seemed to be exclusively online.
As a GM, you’re curious about whether this creature has the capability to take a character’s or group’s life.
Sometimes, as a player, you may feel the mere presence of an NPC causes you to worry about playing more cautiously, sleeping fewer hours, stopping in mid-game to rest, or betraying a hidden agenda. Maybe you’re concerned that the character has an unknown agenda or desires that you may not always agree with. So, you find yourself fearing more, becoming paranoid or even being up at night playing and actually fearing to sleep…
There are good reasons why you shouldn’t. Even if the NPC is a perfect stranger, such “fears” could be perfectly normal under the right circumstances. You may have been experiencing a delusion, perhaps due to a random experience you ran into just before running into the NPC. You may have known the NPC in real life and now, through a glitch, had found out you share many interests and attributes. You may simply have been having a bad day with the game; enough to believe some ill plan was going into action.
