A simple endless runner that takes place on an alien world.
Spunner is a first person shooter take on an endless runner style of game. You collect data chips to use as in-game currency to upgrade health, shields, unlock weapons and increase weapon ammo. There are a number of random events to keep you guessing while you try to destroy drones before they destroy you! Be careful for alien critters who try to prevent you from passing as well!

I like it! I think it would be an excellent game.
It has nice graphics, simple, not too complex gameplay, good variety (at least as it starts out), the feel of being outdoors, and the alien atmosphere. The drones seem to be a good idea, though they’re so annoying that I never have had a chance to use them. Drones are an effective way to destroy the player, but I think in a game like this, the player would still have plenty of choice as to how to proceed.
Also, the grade-school teacher gives you hints to make the game easier and easier. In your description, you had stated „experienced gamers“, so I assume you would want the game to be just a bit more challenging than „easy“.
So, take those suggestions, turn the difficulty up a bit (at least from the 7/10 to the 9/10 area) and make it harder at the beginning, and you’re ready to go.

A:

I really like it, you’ll have to iterate on the level design to make it truly „endless“, but I don’t think you need to change much to keep it appealing. The graphics are simple and perhaps a bit too simplistic, but I think that they work well with the gameplay. My only concern is a bit of a technical one

    • M-Plan Game Play

    The goal of the M-Plan Game is to score the highest points by accumulating cards from the opposing players. Each player starts the game with 3 cards in their hand (or <-2 cards in hand after the pre-game round>). A player’s hand is used to earn value points and to obtain cards from their opponents. The basic rules are:

    • Collect the highest number of cards for your event
    • Earn more points for getting cards from other players.
    • Debrief your opponent’s hand after each event.

    Each M-Plan event releases a new set of cards for players to obtain. Once you’ve collected a specific number of cards, you unlock a new event card for the following M-Plan event.

    Each event card consists of EventCardProperty objects, which are the properties of each card (id, prop and name). All of the EventCardProperty objects from a specific event can be obtained by using the event’s id.

    The event card properties include EventCardProperty.LABEL, EventCardProperty.CARD and EventCardProperty.COST.

    The EventCardProperty.LABEL is what is printed on each event card.
    The card’s ID is given to each of the cards by M-Plan (see below). You can also get the ID for each card from the M-Plan database.

    – Look at the country you want to travel to. When the country is highlighted, press the left touchpad to travel.

    This app won’t work in Mainland China. Sorry about that. This has something to do with the Great Firewall.

    A class that (somewhat) works for 5th Edition

    I love the idea of a cross-over class that allows a character to use their accumulated knowledge to perform magic as they would a scientific procedure. My only complaint is that the book didn’t make enough conscious effort at being balanced.

    Great class with very robust mechanics. Alchemy is not my favorite option, but this works extremely well.

    Alchemy was one of my favorite classes back in the day when I played D&D 2e, so this really works for 5th edition.
