CHARIOT WARS is an action arcade racing game based on historical events from Ancient Rome. In the game, your goal is to win over 25 online/local player races against the best charioteers in the Roman empire. Starting as a low level charioteer you have to improve your chariot to win races. Players can choose from eight different race locations around the Roman empire including Egypt, Helvetia, Gaul and even a desert location. Players gain prestige, race experience and money by winning races and improving their chariot. As you gain more prestige you will move up the ranks to higher prestige locations, namely Praetorian Camp and Coliseum (eventual) and will be able to move up the ranks faster. Players can win chariot models, free upgrades, prestige and money by winning races. This creates a repeatable story driven loop.
How to play:
The game is designed so that there is no learning curve, all you need to do is start racing and in a few short years you will be racing in the Colosseum
• RACING:
Racing is controlled with the right arrow or by tapping the screen to move the chariot forward and the left arrow to move the chariot backwards
You can choose between 8 different chariot models (downloadable) and you can use 2 different horses per chariot.
• FREE UPGRADES:
You can unlock free upgrades from winning races.
• CROSS-PLATFORM & MULTIPLAYER:
You can race against the same player, against different players or against the computer. Your progress is saved to your account and you can upload your files to the Steam Cloud. Players can also challenge each other to friendly races for higher ranks and prizes.
