You are responsible for picking up the cactus and moving it to a suitable place, while destroying the dangerous wildfires and natural disasters. Then your cacti will grow and develop into full trees. You’ll have to monitor the conditions and choose a suitable time for the next quest, to reduce the possibility of further natural disasters or wildfires.

For the Google Train Challenge I have taken the Razorbill model painting challenge – the Trailblazer vintage train. If you don’t know the challenge, read the full post at the link above (be forewarned – the post is long).
I have part started on the trailblazer. I am making three pieces, the yellow primer coat…for paint, the two coats of black paint…and for grays and a tan. I am still getting used to that technique. It is time consuming…need to peel off the primer in order to get to the right color. But I am enjoying the process.
For the Gray, I mixed a lot of color to get the right color for the stripe on the engine end of the train.
I need to use a lot more of the black stripes!! I am also experimenting with a more modern vintage style pantaloons and some modern hardware and new paint colors.
Now to share the end of the Railroad Ink challenge. The work of Ranger Maya! She is a nationally ranked professional artist and she challenged others to make a vintage train with oil based paints and water based paints.
I thought it was going to be a challenge, but I was wrong. I mixed up the colors for the different kinds of paint before coloring the train. Putting the final paint on and starting the shading was a challenge.
