It won’t be an edit to your question that solves this as it is more that you are asking us to guess. It is good to know that the case of your steam stats are the only time it has worked, which happens to be rare for people. Personally only one time I had it work. Also gamelike says that if the statistics are in order of avaialbity, it could be due to already having released and your steam cache returning to the last folder.
The issue is that the Steam profile on your game in question is messed up in the sense that your game is running under a profile of an older version of the game itself. Any of the 5 days that the publisher says these statistics are active could be last time something like that happened, or first time it happened.

Only way to be sure it is not to be active is if the game says so. If it is overwriting in anything else that happens then you should check your Steam downloads area, and look to see if the files themselves have changed. If not, you should choose one and try using it versus the game.

Liftoff is a game of quick takeoff, lateral movement and rapid fire.
Player takes on the role of a ‚Lifter‘, a character with a set of customizable weapons. Liftoff takes place in and around an urban environment in Sweden. Liftoff is built around a neon-track inside a body of water and a ‚dock‘ for the drones.
From a distance, a Liftoff match begins with the player team taking on a drone game. Pilots are sent out to perform tasks such as ‚docking‘ an incoming drone, or strafing down the track while on the lookout for an off-track drone. When launched, a Liftoff drone can be equipped with different ‚weapons‘ to ensure that the drone does more than just ride shotgun.
Each drone has a specific ‚trajectory‘, tracking a different route and altitude.
To ensure that drones can make use of the track and no longer ‚just fly in the cloud‘, the ‚dock‘ was built to allow Liftoff drones to dock into ‚off-road‘ launchers that send the drones back to the track. The ‚dock‘ also allows players to gain access to jump pads, refuel stations, and recovery points.
In order to make the game more accessible, the game play is de-cluttered to the point where Liftoff can be a highly competitive yet highly strategic game.
Multitasking can be accomplished with the support of the track. There are 18 ‚knots‘ along the track. Each knot is an official point that a drone can be sent to.
Players can take drones off the track and control them from the ‚dock‘. Drone speed will be affected by what parts of the track are in use.

Conquest is a multi-player first person shooter, which features two teams of 4 players in the same game mode against each other. Each team has a truck, loaded with launchers and weaponry. The map consists of 3 different biomes: Jungle, Jungle Forest and Desert. Each team spawns together in a predetermined area in the map.On the other hand, respawn areas have been removed. Every map is generated randomly with at least one lane and an area for repairing. The map has a different layout every time it is generated. Every game mode is available in survival and death match. Last person standing wins. If the winner kills a player, he is the only one to win the game, while the others are respawned in a random area on the map, as long as the arena has not been filled.

In order to progress through the game modes, players need to earn skills, using them to level up their character. At the end of the match the player that has the highest level wins.
