Immerse yourself in the wonderfully surreal world of Gajuu. The „Husk“, as you are called, is something created to serve the Gods, so how can they be so cruel to punish it for simply trying to do its job, when they are the ones who need it?
Stripped of its powers, you must venture through the many zones of a corrupted universe in the hopes of gaining the Divine Power, which will grant you the blessings you need to overcome the hurdles that you will see in your path. Collected by one of the architects of the universe, these energies will give you the skills you need to be a god, capable of surviving all that the Gods could throw at you…But will it be enough?

You are a „husk“, a being created from the God of Nothing, born without a name and referred to only as a „Husk“. Sent to become a servant of the Gods, you are given many blessings by the lesser gods, hoping that this will somehow help make up for your common „self“ left behind.
You can select between two classes, the „Dark God“ and the „Light God“. Since the gods are classified based on their darkness or brightness, both classes share an identical set of weapons. However, the abilities you receive will vary depending on which class you have selected.
Aside from the two classes, the only thing you receive from the gods is a Divine Power. In order to obtain your blessings and utilize them properly, you must collect Divine Powers from enemies. Each Divine Power will provide you with a new ability, allowing you to dodge a myriad of enemies that have been warped by the black magic of the Gods.
Your enemies are servants of the Gods; they, too, are bound by their desires, and so you must always use caution when collecting Divine Powers. If you can’t handle the high level, the enemies will always be difficult, and you must fight your way to them.

I have decided to stop actively making things. Unless I have some immediate plans to update my previous projects, I will not be working on them any longer. This means that Nothing to God: The Sequel, and Better Than Nothing: The Sequel are no longer actively developed. However, for the first time in years, I have the time and resources to devote to new ideas, and in a few months I plan on launching my own indie game dev site.
While I have not discontinued my development of Nothing to God, I will no longer be actively updating it. From now on, I will be spending time on this site and my new game. For those interested in a more up to date project, I suggest you check out : The Sequel and Better Than Nothing: The Sequel. I will be updating those regularly.
The following sections will be a history of the past, but they will be subject to change if some greater idea occurs to me. This is a series of posts that could potentially take me years to write, so if I forget or get tired of writing it, I hope you will understand.

Development Begins.
One day, I was bored, so I started making a pixel art game with no design.
It was a rather cute game.
It also had a unique interface.
A day later, I was at work, and I was telling my manager about how I was making this game, and he asked me why I wasn’t getting a job.
My response was that I wasn’t making enough.
I had no idea what that meant.
So, after a few more months of working at the Game Stop, I decided to make a homepage for my website, so I could show everyone how creative I was.
Within a week, I made a page that I was proud of.
However, it didn’t look good.
It looked terrible.
It looked like I was making some pretentious student’s project

In his widely read book, Nobody Understands You: The Art of Communication, N.T. Wright describes an encounter between Jesus and his disciples as they returned home:
Jesus looked at his disciples, then extended his right arm and pointed at the pagan temples and the Jewish synagogues. … He could have said, “Look. Look there. They worship idols. They rejected my Father and me. They profess to have been saved, but, in truth, in the knowledge of the truth, they had not heard the truth.” … Why didn’t he confront them? Trust me, and you will understand the living and active God among you.”[i]
Given his extremely influential view of the New Testament, Wright’s characterization of Jesus is unlikely to go unchallenged, even among his evangelical friends. Far from being unique to Wright, it is a common theme among Christian apologists and evangelists. Wright himself writes that the „faith of the majority of Christians comes in seeing something of themselves in Jesus.“[ii] Much of Christianity advocates the idea that people can somehow experience the austerities of the Christian life in order to see themselves for what they are. Wright also suggests that Christians should „trust in Jesus to make it clear what it is to be a Christian.“[iii] Nonetheless, Wright’s interpretation is likely to disturb some (and this is the purpose of the following post), since it seemingly serves as a secular argument for the same orientation towards Jesus.
If the core claim of Christian faith is the ability of people to experience this austeri-ty, Wright’s characterization of Jesus encourages his disciples to be open to this same austerity. Over the course of a decade, Wright’s expression of this austerity is wide ranging, ranging from being especially merciful to stripping clean the rags of the proud and the assurance of being „one of the elect who will live forever.“[iv] However, the following quote from Wright is one that I’ve found most revealing, given the manner in which it may call into question the psychological dimensions of Christian faith. I apologize to Wright that this lengthy quote is necessarily indirect, however, his emphasis leads directly into the quoted statement:
