Story and allies: more adventure!
The main story is now on an almost three year tangent, and has spread over the continent. Now requires from the player more exploration and travelling to find all NPCs and corresponding story-line items. With the addition of new NPC friends, and the return of old characters, spreading out the story line was a welcome decision by the author!
New Save feature: play over the last session.
It may come as a surprise to many of us that this game features session saves. A worry for the author. The worry is that just because I save right after an hour play, it could have meant a death in ten minutes.
New Party System: can play as a single player without waiting for others.
This is something I have always wanted in this game, and perhaps this is the first time that I am grateful that I have this option! I have almost always been playing solo and that was the way I always have wanted to play this game. I have always enjoyed it, but this has never been possible before. This is what makes this game innovative, and though I dislike the need to search for a mate, it gives a good perspective of what a traditional character-driven RPG would be like. So if you want that solo option, it is worth picking this up to try it out. However, be aware that you will have to cast lots of characters, and resurrect them, which sucks a lot of time away.
New dice rolling: learn to roll and use the random numbers option.

Koji Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1975, the son of a professional physicist and a homemaker. As a fan of swordplay and magic, Koji has tried all kinds of occupations including musician, carpenter, and insurance salesman. Koji was finally recruited to create the Heroes of Legionwood series at the end of 2004. He is married to a producer at Sumikko Gurashi Company, and they have three children.

Born in 1974 in Pisa, Italy, Simona Vitali studied art at the Fine Arts Academy of Pisa where she graduated in 2000. In 2000, she founded Simona’s Artworks studio which works in the design and realization of artistic projects. A multi-talented artist, she has also designed RPG characters, stage sets, and have illustrated a number of children’s books. Since 2003 she works as a freelance illustrator and painter, working for publishers and magazines as well as artists from Japan, USA and Italy.
