There is an allusion to the comic series the Warlock by Joe Hill and Stephen King. Don’t be fooled by the PC version’s misleading PC Master Race banner, as this game is just as violent and morally grey as its console counterpart. If you’re looking for a game to take the piss out of the PC Master Race as opposed to the PC Gaming Elite in general, this is the game for you.

The only real downfall in this game is that you can’t switch off the narrator in the cutscenes, but they can be easily skipped. The PC version has a few other bugs, such as a graphical glitch in the gate where sometimes the letters „A.G.A.M.“ are replaced by „AGGM“. I don’t know if it is in the PS4 version, but it isn’t a problem in the PC version. At least it allows for an easy modding community. If I were to recommend this game, I’d suggest you get the PC version.

I really really liked this game. It has a lot of themes and ideas that are very interesting and there are many ways to approach the game. I would recommend this game to people with an open mind. I also liked the fact that the game has more than one ending, which has something to do with the lack of reprehensible but not necessarily evil actions.

This is the first virtual reality game that I created, so it is the one with the most steps.
I hope you don’t get overwhelmed by the instructions, let alone the number of items that you have to hold in hand.
For a game that requires full attention, you really need to be careful with your performance in order to have fun.
Don’t worry, if you follow the instructions, you will quickly master the basics and you will have fun.
You can „Bailout“ your game (via the 2x) to access a 5 minutes practice mode, but you have to keep an eye on your health bar in order to not lose all of your points.
To accelerate your learning process, you can instantly jump back to the starting point by tapping on the [][] button located on the bottom-left corner of your controller.
And to cheat, you can pause the game at any time and hold [][] on the controller to access the main menu where you can choose the difficulty and the starting health.

It’s been almost four months since I’ve shared anything written. Part of my inactivity, I suspect, has been a steadily rising tide of sadness–a rise and fall that cycles through my emotions and numbness and insignificance like a river that changes course. At any rate, my presence here is deservedly a minor one, coming up on my last yeariversary of my own cancer. Yet, I’ve been as animated and energized when writing as I have since surgery. So today, I’m going to share my very backlogged journal of the few things I got done over the past four months of having a heel broken into and surgically replaced, along with the very first journal entry that prompted the surgery in the first place: October 22, 2014:

I was nauseous.
I hate being incapacitated (my lying to me now isn’t far from the error of a figure of speech that Dr. Sparing said isn’t incorrect, but it is one of those phrases that don’t mean “like maybe” when uttered, but rather “your whole system is crashing”). Even worse is not being able to help myself. There is no more power than there was, as it stands. I’m still working on my boss, mostly because doing that feels more constructive than being idle. I’m working at with my manager (same as before surgery) to put plans in place for April, so I can stay even further into my year off.
I’ve been alone since October. That fact has become of secondary importance, but in the immediate weeks it was as frightening as it was unthinkable: I could not depend on myself to be functional. The goodness, the necessity, of having anyone else is so crushing.
If this injury is something like my melanoma, it’s a milestone in my life. It gave me a life-altering medical event. I can’t even say that Dr. Sparing thought he’d amputate my heel because, well, that would be overstating it–not because it was his suggestion, but because the way things progressed left open that possibility.
