Palomino Creek is a first person game where the player can do whatever they want. The game is a narrative adventure game with game mechanic. When the player enters a room, they can interact with objects but they can also modify the environment. All NPCs are created in the game engine before the player even meets them.
NPC’s mood changes as the player advances in the game. During dialogues, the game will give you hints about what the character want. Depending on the choice of the player, the choices will determine the evolution of the plot and the game.
The game is fully control by touch. It’s an immersive game with a character that is also able to tell the player things by using his eyes.
The graphics are done with two-dimensional sprites. The game has a cinematic quality with subtitles that move.
Not since Bard’s Tale and Sam & Max have you felt so… free!

I love this game. I don’t want to hear any more praise for it; I want to hear how many people are going to be watching it.

There are several ways people can watch the 24 hour stream:

1. Use any SSH client on your machine (Cygwin is one of the best if you don’t want to compile anything from scratch) and ssh to your Raspberry Pi, connect to port 7777 and run „aoss /path/to/Raspbmc.py“ (replace „path/to“ with the path to the Raspbmc folder) You can also set it up so that it starts at boot, in that case you can also just start your ssh client and the two of you will be connected right away.

2. Any PC (or Mac) with an ssh client can watch the stream by connecting to your Raspberry Pi’s IP address (say 192.168.0.100) and running „aoss /path/to/Raspbmc.py“ again. You’ll probably need to set up port forwarding on your router to watch the stream.

3. (And this is the trickier way)

You can also use any bash server on your PC (and have Raspberry Pi watch through the same terminal) by setting up „ssh -f pi@raspberrypi.tld -L 7777:localhost:7777 user@192.168.0.100“

As always, I was up at 05:30 AM with a very bright mind. I thought that I would want to try this game even though I might not be able to write a proper review and finish writing the review before the game starts, but the timing and all could just go down the drain so I am making the best of the situation and giving it my best shot.

I am thinking that I will not make it until after 00:00 PM or something like that. Just to give you an idea, I need to take a nap right now and when I wake up in about 30 minutes, the game is about to start. I am going to let it be a surprise for me and just assume that it starts any minute.

I went outside and saw my wife having her morning bath. She is very beautiful, but I must say that she has no place to hide from a surprise like this. However, she knew that I had something planned for today, so she just said, “hey, good morning, I have to leave now” and she left. She was not going to interfere with my little plan of playing the new game that I found on some website. I must say that I like the “Try To Survive” name because it sounds very well. It is like a very positive and simple name. Anyway, the game was going to start in a very short time and I had to wait for my wife to get ready and leave.

I could not sleep at all last night because I was so excited about this game. I did not know what to expect and what I could find inside the game, but I decided that it was worth the risk.

When my wife left the house, I loaded up the game and I was good to go. The pre-game tutorial is pretty straightforward, but I had to read through it just to make sure that I knew what I had to do. The next thing that I had to do was to start the game and enter the match and I have to admit that I was slightly shocked by the way that I got the game to start. It was very smooth and easy, but I am not sure if it is going to stay like that.

I was ready to start the game and I needed to move up to the matches that I had in my arsenal, but I was able to create a friend right away. I was going to play online with other friends and I got a new friend to make some plays and
