WebAPI: GET method uses wrong default value when called multiple times

It’s the first time I am having problems with the Default value of a parameter.
I have to calculate values for certain parameters on each call.
When I do a call from postman, everything works fine.
When I do a call from a browser, this value is not getting updated.
I have added breakpoints in the controller but they never are reached.
This is my function:
