ROBLOX LAUNCHES IMPACT GRANTS PROGRAM

To support 10+ nonprofit organizations across the country, Roblox is taking part in a voluntary contribution program with Impact Zone, allowing Impact Zone to select 10 recipients to receive funding and support to provide critical services and help keep kids safe.

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 14, 2019) – Roblox, the leading creator of family-friendly virtual worlds for kids, today announced the launch of its Impact Grants Program. The goal of the program is to support 10+ nonprofit organizations across the country that work to keep children safe and healthy by providing services to families and kids. The funding will help nonprofit organizations drive change through education, prevention and support for impacted families. The program is open to organizations in the United States.

Roblox’s Impact Grants Program is based on a public-private partnership with Impact Zone, a Los Angeles based nonprofit organization which works to provide education, prevention and help for children and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Impact Zone’s CEO, Sharon Pierpont, said, “Over the past several weeks, we have seen the incredible impact the Roblox team has made with this generous donation.
