Monitor the CPU, RAM and disk usage levels with this portable app
Thanks to the fact that it’s wrapped in portable format, myResources can be kept in your collection of no-install tools as well as saved to a removable storage unit to quickly run it whenever you suspect your computer is running on too many resources (ideal for finding out what’s going on in the background while you’re testing an application or playing a game, for example).
Three separate icons are added to the notifications tray at startup, responsible for overseeing the disk („D“ icon), CPU („C“ icon) and RAM consumption („M icon“), along with an all-in-one icon. On left click, you can check out graphs with the resource readings in real time.
Inspect graphs with real-time readings and customize options
The all-in-one graph tracks the average and maximum disk, CPU and memory levels every minute, hour or day (depending on your preference). It can also monitor the download or upload rate, or both.
Right-clicking any tray icon reveals a menu with options for toggling the panels, resizing the graphs, customizing the icon colors, or asking myResources to automatically run as soon as Windows boots. Two independent applications made by the same developer as used for the all-in-one graph (SumGraph) and network monitor (NetGraph).

Comparing the graphs of the two Independent Applications is not very fair.
Firstly, you have to understand some of the issues with using 2 Windows applications on the same computer with the same name.
Secondly, myResources, as noted in other Windows Reviews, ignores what the 1st ranked application is using in the system.
Thirdly, you have to understand that if you run the 1st app, you’ll always be interrupting it’s activity to get the 2nd app to function as expected. It’s like having 2 identical cars with the only difference being that one works and the other one doesn’t.
With that in mind, you still need to find out why one of them isn’t functioning properly. That’s why comparing the 2d application graph to a single 1st application graph is being done.
In the future, it would be best to tell us, which applications you have to use in order to operate both in stand-alone mode (1st application) and in stand-alone mode (2nd application). That way, we could help you and only give you the answer you need.
By the way, as to why these applications are not working with the XP OS, I don’t know. Possibly because the Windows Graphics Cache (I think) has been changed or reset or something.
Again, if you need 2 applications to work well in stand-alone mode, I would recommend System Monitor ( which is available in all of the major OS versions (XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8, and Windows 10). You can get a demo version at their website (no registration required). Just follow the instructions on the page and download the trial. It’s the same software that was mentioned in the other Windows Reviews.

Seeing that our previous topic was more of a discussion than a technical article, I decided to write a brief explanation of the current state of non-standard Windows applications in Vista, XP, 2000, 98, Me and Windows NT. Windows applications that were created/coded to use Windows API, Windows Shell Extensions, Win32 and any other OS interface.
Following the first „standard“ type of application (SE), we are
