I am trying to push to gitlab from a gitlab master and receiving the following error.
fatal: unable to access “: The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
I am using the default gitlab ci image and created a gitlab user and group using
sudo useradd -d /home/gitlab gitlab
sudo -u gitlab -G gitlab
sudo -u gitlab -s /bin/bash
sudo -u gitlab -H -S gitlab
sudo -u gitlab -H -S gitlab
I then did the following
git config –global url.““.insteadOf
git config –global url.““.insteadOf „“.gitlab.com
git config –global url.““.insteadOf „“.gitlab.com
I changed https to http
Any ideas what could be causing this?
A:
Make sure the project is setup to run under gitlab-runner and that you have setup the correct nginx proxy.
Try simply pushing to your project’s upstream gitlab page and it should trigger the post-receive runner
git remote add upstream
git push –tags –all upstream
Then you can setup the webhook as normal to call the post-receive runner
