The cross-over correlation coefficient is defined as the correlation coefficient of the left and right channels (L*R) divided by the square root of the mean-square error of the channel. Thanks for introducing this plugin. It is a great way to measure the cros-over frequency. The trigger for me to find out about it is that I’ve recorded a drum track today and it sounded a bit off. I was mixing it then I saw that the cros-over frequency is 7.5 KHz in the meter window. If I change the delay in the recorder, I can adjust the cros-over frequency and the mix sounds much better. The meter is a great tool to test your settings.
